Me llamo Señora Kathy Croft.  Soy la maestra de español para toda la escuela – Eary Childhood por 8^th.

My name is Mrs. Kathy Croft.  I am the Spanish teacher for the whole school – Early Childhood through 8^th.  I will also be teaching Middle School Language Arts this year.

This is my 8^th year at Our Lady of Peace School.  I am a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University (class of 1985) and have a double major in English and Spanish.

All grades will learn and use The Sign of the Cross, The Hail Mary, The Our Father and The Glory Be prayers in Spanish.

 2^nd grade meets once a week: review and practice of basics as well as new topics. 

 All test and quizzes are usually announced at least one week ahead of time so that the student may plan his/her study time carefully and try to study a little bit each night with a final review the night before.

 3^rd grade meets once a week: We begin working on our note taking skills in this grade. We will be learning about the months, seasons and weather.  The test on "weather" will be on Monday, February 27th.

 4^th grade meets twice a week:  We will be learning about place settings and food.  We will continue to work on our "paper plate" project.  Please remember to make and turn in test corrections, as noted on your tests.

5th grade meets twice a week: We will be studying the verb "vivir" (to live) and house items.  We will continue to work on our house pictures in class.

 6th grade meets twice a week: Now studying the verb "ir" (to go) and places in the community.  Test on "ir" and community on Friday, 2/24.  Begin studying the "community" vocabulary.

 7th grade meets twice a week: Now studying class subjects.  We will be learning how to tell time.

 8th grade meets twice a week: Now studying the verb "doler" and "body" vocabulary.  Test on this unit will be on Friday, 2/24.  Begin studying, especially "body" vocabulary.
