Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1^st Grade

We are working on the SmartBoard in the resource room.  The children are learning how to use the board and are amazed that their finger can work just like a computer mouse!  Some sites we use are Starfall.com, Shepardsoftware.com, Nickjr.com and I Spy Mystery.

Grade 2

We are working on using a Word Document.  The children are learning how to use WordArt and basic typing skills.  We will be learning to type our name and address.  Successful "typists" will be getting mail soon after!

Grade 3

Grade 4

We are also learning how to use our USB flash drives.  It will take some time to learn the skill of storing and retrieving information.

Grade 5

Our 5^th graders are in for a new experience this year!  We are in the process of writing to our pen pals.  These pen pals come from Rutgers Prep School in Somerset.  Both of the school's 5^th grade classes are very excited about this endeavor!

We will be creating charts in excel and working on our PowerPoint skills!  The students will also be learning how to email an attachment from their USB flash drive! Whew!
